Writer and Producer
Mischa has worked on over thirty features, ranging from smaller independent projects to multi-million dollar films. She produced the critically acclaimed *The Off Hours* directed by Megan Griffiths, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and *The Immortal Augustus Gladstone*, directed by Robyn Miller. Her own short film, *The Hero Pose* screened at TIFFKids, Aspen Shorts Fest, and won audience awards at Providence Children’s Film Festival, Cinevic Short Circuit, Siouxland Film Festival, Blue Whiskey Film Festival, and the Seattle International Film Festival.
As well as writing and developing her own material, she champions strong, original voices in film and VR through the projects she produces with Mechanical Dreams and MDVR, Seattle-based production companies she founded with Lacey Leavitt. Their first project, *MOPZ*, debuted on Adult Swim on April 4th and Eagle Bone, their first VR piece is touring festivals internationally. Originally from Missoula, Montana, Mischa earned an MA in Filmmaking from the London Film School.
