Lacey has had the pleasure of being involved with some of the most successful and original Seattle indie films of the last decade. As a producer and co-producer, her credits include Megan Griffiths’ *The Off Hours (*Sundance Film Festival) and *Lucky Them (*Toronto International Film Festival), Todd Rohal’s *The Catechism Cataclysm (*Sundance FF*)*, Colin Trevorrow’s *Safety Not Guaranteed* (Sundance FF), Lynn Shelton’s *Laggies* and *Touchy Feely*(Sundance FF), and Justin Lerner’s *The Automatic Hate* (SXSW). She co-directed and produced the award winning roller derby documentary *Blood on the Flat Track*.
She has been commissioned to direct the short films *D.C.I.* for the Seattle International Film Festival, *Escape* for the Orcas Island Film Festival, and *The Costanza Breakups* for iFilmThat. As well as writing and developing her own material, she champions strong, original voices in film and VR through the projects she produces with Mechanical Dreams, a Seattle-based production company she founded with Mischa Jakupcak. Their first project, *MOPZ*, debuted on Adult Swim on April 4th. She is on the board of the Café Nordo theater in Pioneer Square, and is an alumni of the University of Washington and the Sundance Creative Producing Lab.
